Bangladesh Computer Samity, BCS, turns 35 in this remarkable year when the country is celebrating the birth centenary of our Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and the Golden Jubilee of Independence. This celebration of the 35th Birth Anniversary is a milestone for BCS, and its new generation would remember the celebration till the next decade.
As a General Secretary of Bangladesh Computer Samity, the whole situation made us proud. It’s a great privilege to see that other pioneering IT associations joined the celebration to make every event successful.For about three decades, BCS is branching out its activities throughout the country and now representing the country in the international arena through global platforms like ASOCIO and WITSA. On behalf of the members of BCS, I am apologizing that several times we changed the time of the celebration for unavoidable circumstances.
BCS members would like to thank the volunteers who are serving every event day and night, the staff at the secretariat, and the Chairman of the Souvenir Committee, Editor, Convenor, and the members of the Editorial Team, and no less importantly, the sponsors and advertisers for having made this souvenir possible. The members would like to further thank the very important persons of the country for spending their valued time to write the messages for the souvenir and my warm regards to the guests who are joining us for the celebration of the 35th Anniversary
